Some people consider it the Star Academy for priests. It is because the reality-tv concept is basically the same. However, don’t expect judges, evictions or cash prizes. In Priest Academy, three young Catholic priests are filmed throughout the day while they go about their everyday life.

The “housemates” in Priest Academy are Franck, Michel and Christophe. The three belong to the Diocese of Besançon in France. The goal of Priest Academy is to show the daily adventures of priests – praying the breviary, celebrating the Eucharist, administering the Sacraments, preparing meal, keeping themselves physically fit, faith-sharing with young people, and visiting friends.

Many people think that priests live such boring, routine lives. The five-minute videos will show that clerics also know how to have fun while doing their ministries. As of this writing, the online videos already have more than 150,000 hits.

The videos can be found on YouTube, DailyMotion and of course on the Priest Academy’s official site. All videos are in French. Below is the teaser.
