Fr. Robert Barron, a north American Catholic priest, is shooting a series of videos titled “The Catholicism Project” which will explain Catholic faith, life and culture in depth. Filming will be done on location in Israel, Italy and other parts of Europe, Mexico and other parts of America, and in some countries in Africa and Asia. The project is produced by Mike Leonard of NBC’s Today show.
The filming of the first part of the series was completed in June this year. You can watch a trailer of the series here. For more info about the project, please visit wordonfire.org.

dear Fr. Stephen, nice to know films like this are easily available to everyone (including non-Catholics) now. i’ve always asked why the Catholic church isnt as aggressive (with the methods of spreading and teaching) as the other congregation out there. Take for example street near my location has more than 6 churches/assemblies all lined up next to each other to preach their own beliefs. With this C-project, im so glad it has made technology as its vehicle and i hope it would even get inside in people’s mindsets easily too!Im sure a similar project could do wellhere if initiated by our own priests too, like … you, perhaps ? Have a great day Father! We miss your homilies!
