READING: Matthew 22: 34-40
When the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together, and one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. ‘Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?’ He said to him, ‘ “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.’
REFLECTION
In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus tells his disciples to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind” as well as to “love your neighbour as yourself.”
Loving God and loving neighbors are two aspects of the same commandment to love. Our foremost duty is to love God with our entire selves. This love of God should be expressed in the way we love our neighbours.
We need to love others with as much concern as we have for ourselves.
Loving God does not simply mean going to church, reciting prayers or kneeling on one’s knees. To love God completely is to show care and concern for the poor and powerless.

These 2 greatest commandments God’s Law . First I love God with all my heart my soul my mind and my strength. Second to love my fellow man/neighbours as I love
myself. It is his message love one another as I have love you. Very simple and understandable. The photo you used is very meaningful it shows many angle to our
life specially those who are living far from their love once/ family. But if we really love our love once family away this time we have to be patience understanding faithful to be committed and these 2 greatest commandments is so very appropriate. Before I forget you are very creative and artistic.
The graces of the HOLY SPIRIT be with you always.
